There are a number of ways you can support the San Diego County Psychiatric Hospital Auxiliary in its tradition of caring for those whose lives have been disrupted by mental illness.
Membership
You can have the most impact by joining the Auxiliary as a member. Membership dues are the Auxiliary’s most important source of funds. As a member, you can be as active as you wish. You can serve on the Board of Directors, recruit new members, help with fundraising, or participate in planning the Community Education Events, Holiday Party and other Auxiliary functions.
Whatever your talents may be, we need you!

PROGRAM
Because patients take the clothing and items provided by the Auxiliary with them when they leave the hospital, there is an ongoing need for sweatshirts, sweatpants, men's and women's pants, t-shirts, shirts, underwear and socks. Cash donations will be used to purchase the items most needed. Contributions of new or used clothing in good condition are also always welcome and can be dropped off at the Hospital security gate.

Inquire within groups, churches and where you work to see if our photo/text exhibit can be displayed. The exhibit can be hung on walls or on free standing kiosks provided by the Auxiliary. YOU can help erase the stereotypes and stigmas of mental illness!
